Cat Manabat

Cat Manabat (a name, not a Pokémon) is a creative executive, producer, and writer. She was born and raised in Los Angeles wishing she lived in the fancy L.A. that was shown on movies and TV. She has developed, written, and worked extensively on animation and live action productions for multiple companies — some you’ve definitely heard of and others hopefully not.

Her recent production credits include leading creative on the Emmy award-winning series Well Versed (Nickelodeon/ATTN:/Moonbug Entertainment); digital short-form series Vida the Vet: Ask Vida and Vida the Vet: Tails of Sweetwood (Spin Master); in addition to numerous partnerships with kids brands such as Hasbro, LEGO Duplo, Spin Master, and more. She also spent a decade in digital marketing and creative production for the educational kids app ABCmouse (Age of Learning).

Cat aims to create relatable stories for kids and families anchored by characters that are funny, genuine, and full of heart.

In her free time, she likes to binge YouTube travel videos, volunteer with WriteGirl, daydream about being on Jeopardy! and try various sports she is terrible at playing. (Currently: tennis.)
